Finding the sound of NOLA through Noahleans

Musicians and fellow music junkies: Check out, an AWESOME effort dedicated to helping the world-renowned musicians of New Orleans find work, shelter and instruments.

This Houston Press article provides some good insight on how to donate to NOAH through the Houston Musicians Benevolent Society.

90.1 KPFT will be broadcasting live with some really swell New Orleans jazz jems at the Rhythm Room (1815 Washington Ave.) this Saturday, September 17th from 3-5:30pm. Keep checking back on the NOAH site for more opportunities to help out these talented musicians and get a little ear candy in return.

    WE need volunteers:
NOAH (New Orleans And Houston), is now organized and ready to help musicians displaced by hurricane Katrina who are in the Houston area. NOAH is a charitable volunteer organization of Houston-based musicians and music lovers devoted to helping professional musicians who have been displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Our mission is to help musicians relocate and find employment in the greater Houston area until they can help themselves. NOAH is an unincorporated, grassroots organization operating as an independent project of the Musician
