In preparation for Halloween, we rented Van Helsing and loved it. This movie is like Interview with the Vampire on speed.
Things I liked about it:
1. It has (the irresistable Wolverine) Hugh Jackman playing fighter of evil, Van Helsing.
2. The brides of Dracula have wings.
3. It’s constantly in motion and keeps you interested.
4. Incorporates warewolves, vampires, mad science, and adventure in one movie (and does it well).
5. Lots of energy and very little blood.

Wow. I thought the movie was packed with action and amazing special effects. You can’t expect a movie that focuses so much on effects and action to have a deep, complex plot.
I give two thumbs up!
