Everyone’s A Fucking Critic

Recently spotted on I-45 while driving to the downtown area from Clear Lake.

fucking clowns

Even the damn clowns make fun of our city! I wonder what our mayor and the CVB think of this. In any case, I’m sure that criticizing your host city’s transportation arteries is not a good way to make friends.

By the way, if you go to the circus and hear the band playing “The Stars and Stripes Forever“, you better run… but direct our new “friends” at the Big Top to take I-45 out of town.

They have another billboard on I-45 facing inbound traffic that has a picture of a tiger on it and says something to the effect of “His top speed is 37 mph. Jealous?”

I fly by it daily at an average speed of 65 mph in the middle of the 5:00 rush-hour. Then again, I’m going against traffic– I’m sure the morning drivers coming into town can probably relate better than I. That said, the billboard only makes sense for maybe one hour in the morning, 5 days a week.

Speaking of… didn’t Happy Katie post an article on how someone had kept a record of his commute times… to the point of minute details on routes and peak travel periods?

Hep me out here will ya?

    Everyone’s A Fucking Critic…
    wow!
    Road rage on a blog?
I thought after leaving Clear Lake, one would have more peaceful and pleasant non-metro thoughts for blogging.

lol.. that’s funny.. no, Akil. if only our “hellish commute” (borrowing a phrase from a recent commentor) was that easy, we’d be living in and having a peaceful and pleasant day. but yes, traffic on 45 is bound to get anyone, even the most patient person on the rim of road rage.
