Our Very Own Day of Evil
If I recall… HappyKatie had mentioned that the LA Metbloggers are going to be celebrating National Slayer Day on June 6, 2006 (or 6/6/06).
Not being a fan of Slayer, I would like to propose Houston MetBloggers celebrates our own “Day of Evil” on 6/6/06.
So the big question is… what’s really evil that should be celebrated? The way things are going in DC… perhaps the White House will be in hot water… again… for the 40 billionth time. Will the Enron verdict be published soon?
Perhaps the most evil thing we can celebrate is the complacency of the United States to simply let bad things continue to happen.
Oh crap… should this have been a Metblog entry or should I have kept this internal?

Other evil-ness to celebrate — GAS PRICES!!! TRAFFIC!!!
Alas… the following countries pay MORE for gasoline (including tax) than the US. In order of most expensive to least:
Turkey, Norway, Britian, Germany, Italy, France, South Korea, Poland, Japan, Finland, Lithuania, Australia, India, Ecuador, Brazil, Canada, South Africa, United States.
And then:
Ghana, Jamaica, Mexico, Argentina, Guatamala, China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Venezuela.
