Houstonian Ray Hill featured on This American Life

Public Radio’s This American Life featured Houston’s own Ray Hill on last week’s show entitled ‘Lock Up’ with stories of prison life. The show is now available in its entirety via audio stream from the This American Life website. Ray Hill is a fascinating character in and of himself, but the Prison Show on 90.1 KPFT, which he started in 1980 and continues to host, is far and away the most interesting thing on Houston radio. Perhaps that’s not saying as much as it used to, but if you get a chance it’s well worth checking out, Friday nights from 9 to 11pm on 90.1 or on a live feed from their website.
