National Coffee Break (Free Coffee!)

News on the street is that Starbucks will be hosting the first ever “National Coffee Break” tomorrow (Wednesday, March 15). Visit any Starbucks retail store between 10am to noon and receive a complimentary tall (12 oz.) cup of coffee.

I don’t think this applies to coffee houses that “proudly brew” Starbucks coffee, so you’re going to have to go to a real Starbucks in order to take advantage of this offer. I’m also not sure how badly you want to stay in line for a free cup of coffee (less than $2.00 value). Nevertheless, if you’re bored and are need a caffeine rush between 10-12, it might be worth doing.

Something just popped into my head. I wonder if this deal works for the drive thru. In other words, it’d make things much easier if you could just go through the drive thru and say “give me my free cup of coffee!” instead of waiting inside…
