Yeah I see cops on the Beltway sometimes, but not that often. I remember when I had my 2000 F-150 I got up to 90 just out of curiousity on a mostly empty stretch between I-10 and 290.

I’m suprised it didn’t asplode. It’s since been recalled. I’m a little more cautious now, but I usually do around 80.

    a little silver thing?

I think it was…me! But I was only going 80(ish). Sorry about that.

Ehhh, no Meli… this car (?) was traveling at something much faster than 80. Try at least 110 to 120 mph. This little grey thing r-o-a-r-e-d past me.

BTW: About my new car… when I reach 75 mph, my speedometer glows orange. And then when I reach 100mph, it glows red. How cute!!!

yes. That is cute. But let’s keep it below 80, huh? You know, for safety’s sake…

    naw dood–
the belt has no speed limits. it’s like the fuckin autobahn. it’s just an understood rule in certain parts of h-town that you can drive as fast as you want. i guess you pay the toll to avoid getting pulled over or something.

So what I wanna know is when you’re finding the Beltway clear enough to go fast enough to matter? Seems like lately, it’s been wall-to-wall cars… going s-l-o-w…

Hesam: Oh yes, my friend. It’s a 2006 IS350. I don’t mean to boast, but the thing is out of control!

Oh yeah… and I found a new place to go ridiculously fast: The Westpark Toll Road. I can

Houston has some of the worst drivers I’ve ever seen and I’ve been around the world, too. They’re very rude and will cut you off in a second,if given the chance to.
