Dum da dum…

That’s it, baby!
We’re going.

Since the formation of the team in 1961, Houston has never been to a world series…

until 2005.

Now, to take the Socks in four.

(heh, people in my neighborhood are already setting off fireworks. The game ended less than a minute ago.)

(and you know.. I was sitting here, at the computer, watching the end of the game, and I still didn’t beat Chris to the entry. I swear that man watches the games in a quarter-screen window, with the post editor open.)

Hehe - the editor was definitely open and the post was written… I was just waiting for that last out. :)

On behalf of Metblog’s imaginary St. Louis contingent (by way of Austin), I … *sigh* … congratulate the Astros for thoroughly trouncing and demoralizing my Cardinals in game 6. I was hoping that Busch Stadium might get a more dramatic send-off, but the game 5 high just didn’t carry over. Gotta admit that it’s good to see Biggio and Bagwell get to the World Series.

    NOW DON’T BLOW IT!!!
