Metbloggers posting from the quake aftermath

Please go offer your support to our fellow Metbloggers over in Lahore and Karachi. They are updating continuously and a few are posting to the Lahore site from Islamabad. Asma posts:

A very good news came from Muzafarabad today that 12 children are recovered alive after 48 hours from a collapsed school.

I was longing to help with my hands, to do my contribution towards this drastic situation. Allah opened up two ways for me today, with his blessings.

From Wednesday, We are arranging a relief camp in our university, International Islamic University, Islamabad, H-10 Campus, both in Male and female campuses.

Inshah Allah, our sir and a team of students are working out for places where no relief is given yet. Trucks would be arranged and the team would go there themselves.

I have already given details of important things you can contribute. If possible, you can contribute to our camp.

Hopefully someone will set up something where we can contribute from afar. I’ll post what I can find. Disaster knows no cultural boundaries. Let’s help our fellow humans in their hour of need.

Looks like UNICEF is accepting donations to help children in South Asia.
