All the news that’s new and improved…

This’ll be a nice, quick entry, folks.

I was introduced to a new website, today, that is doing a very good job of aggregating news. Topix.net. I looked around Topix for a while, and suddenly came to the startling realization that they feature “local area” news, based on zip code. Entering my zip code, I got the news for Mission Bend. I figured if they had Mission Bend, would they have Houston? yep.

Then I noticed a very interesting link. Houston Metro [News]. The news from Galveston to The Woodlands, Katy to Baytown. Want it in your favourite RSS aggregator? No problemo.

Hey, Houston… we’re a huge city. We’re so big that I get a headache just thinking about it. It’s tough to keep up with the news. When you want the mass-media, Associate Press, etc, you can go to Topix.net.

…when you want the real deal, you can come to us. ;)
