What are you doing this Saturday??
Here are a few weekend activities for you:
** Come to our Houston Metblog Chillout at 3pm at Cafe Artiste (1601 W Main St) !!! Hang out with the Metbloggers, share your funny stories/jokes and let us know what you would like to see in the Houston Metblog. We’re looking for some new active future Metbloggers – let us know if this is you!
** Check it out: The Houston Underground is sponsoring a Hurricane Katrina Benefit show this Saturday at 4116 E Crosstimbers.
Doors open at 7pm – this is going to be pretty big and pretty sweet with crazy-cool local djs and musical performances. I highly, highly recommend going. Tickets are $7 or a bag of canned goods.
** Also: Houston Heights schoolkids are hosting a ‘HUGE’ bake and lemonade sale at the Houston Farmer’s Market behind the Onion Creek Cafe (3106 White Oak Blvd) this Saturday from 8-12pm.
Show up with a sweettooth and any canned goods and school supplies you can lay your hands on – all donations and proceeds go directly to the Red Cross.
