I have an literary addiction…

…and I’m willing to admit it.

I love books. I love buying them, reading them, smelling them, borrowing them and looking at their pretty pictures.

The 1/4 Price Bookstore (3820 S Shepherd) is an amazing place to satisfy any used book cravings. They have 1st editions, out of print tomes and tons of art and museum books – all in that cozy, quiet atmosphere that a used bookstore should have.

Where do you go to spend too much cash on books you probably won’t read until 3 years from now?

I haven’t been in this bookstore, but I thought about stopping in on occasion. Now I should definitely stop in. I generally go to Barnes & Noble and Half Price Books.

And sign me up for the addiction. I love the smell of books. I love holding them in my hands. And I love being in a bookstore, surrounded by books.

May we thank you for your kind comments regarding our store. A customer came in today, and mentioned your blog, and told us how to find it on the web. Please, the next time you come in, please mention to us that you’re the Katya who wrote the nice blog about us, so that we can personally thank you. Thanks again,
    Gary at 1/4 Price Books
