So how did you celebrate the new year? I worked. Okay, well it wasn’t really hard work - but it was a paying gig. I went to the New Year’s Party at the Houstonian to do party photography. I got all swanky and headed out to rub shoulders with the pretty people…

The party was a $200 a head suit & tie affair that featured a huge spread of food, a martini bar, two excellent bands and even two rooms of casino games. There was ample dancing featuring the high-energy music of The Green Onions and The Pictures in the elegant Houstonian Grande Ballroom.

It was an excellent way to ring in 2005 and even more cool to get paid to attend!
